2008 12 A moment with more Stingrays Cozumel (Intova IC5).
2009 03 Nassau Giant Sea Turtle (Intova IC10). This was taken
diving at Stuart Coves.
2009 03 Nassau Lion Fish (Intova IC10). So beautiful.... so
poisonous!
2009 04 Key West Porcupine Puffer Fish (Intova IC10).
2009 04 Key West Waiting in Line for School (Intova IC10).
2009 04 Nassau In the Reef Meadow (Intova IC10).
2009 04 Nassau Jill Swimming with the School (Intova IC10).
This was my wifes final dive for certification.
I absolutely love having my best friend diving with me.
2009 04 Nassau Traffic on the Reef (Intova IC10).
2009 04 Nassau Trunk Fish (Intova IC10)
2009 12 Cozumel Marine Engine Hiding Stonefish (Intova IC10).
2009 12 Cozumel Stonefish in Hiding (Intova IC10). Of the 1200
venomous fish, this is the most lethal.
They secrete a milky substance that allows their surrounding
environment to "grow" on them camouflaging them.
They don't "attack". But to step on them releases the venom
from their 13 dorsal spines.
2009 12 Cozumel Spineless Coral (Intova IC10).
2009 12 Grand Cayman Flounder Efectively Hiding in Sand (Intova

2009 12 Grand Cayman Trumpet Fish Hiding (Intova IC10).
2009 12 Grand Cayman Trumpet Fish Using Anchor Line to Hide
Behind (Intova IC10). As I went
around the anchor cable it continued to move around to hide until
Jill was on the other side.
Notice it is the same color as the anchor line. They can
change color to match their surroundings.
2009 12 Grand Turk Stingray (Intova IC10).
2009 12 Grand Turk Stonefish Encrusted but Very Alive (Intova
IC10). At first I didn't think it was alive.
The mouth was open. As I got close it snapped shut. This
is a stonefish encrusted into the coral. It sucks
in its prey with lightening fast speed.
2009 12 Grand Turk Stonefish Hiden Encrusted into the Coral (Intova
IC10). Perfectly hidden.
2009 12 Half Moon Caye French Grunt (Intova IC10),
2009 12 Half Moon Caye Jill Snorkeling and Feeding the Fish (Intova
IC10). Jill loves feeding the fish.
Of course, that gives me more photo ops. Here we were
snorkeling instead of diving.
2009 12 Half Moon Caye Sergent Major Fish (Intova IC10).
2009 12 Half Moon Caye the Very Shy Squirrel Fish Intova IC10).
2009 12 Jill Takes a Picture of Me with My New Mask and
Bifocal Lens (Intova IC10). I had to get a new
mask. My Original Dacor Tri-view still worked fine. But,
in Key West, we saw one on display... in the
antique dive museum! Ok, so I have been diving for a long
time. In the lower right I have a stick on bi-focal
so I can read my guages and camera settings. I am still using
my 20+ year old Dacor BC. I haven't seen one
in the museum yet.
2009 12 Ocho Rios Jamaica Squid or cuddlefish (Intova IC10). I
was awed by the color and their speed.
2009 12 Ocho Rios Jamaica Sunlight on Giant Brain Coral (Intova
IC10).
2010 01 Nassau Reef Scene Intova IC10. I love shooting through
the coral to a mesmerizing landscape.
2010 01 Nassau Squirrel Fish Intova IC10. They tend to be so
shy that it is tough to get a picture.
